I am trying to do a simple alignment of my Sanger data (.ab1) with a reference sequence (.gbk).  I get an error that says "wrong output format."  What am I doing wrong?

Hello,

Unfortunately, there is not enough data for me to find out, why the execution failed on your computer. To help me to provide some details, please, do the following:

1. Click "settings -> Preferences..." (on macOS "Unipro UGENE -> Preferences...").
2. Go to the "Logging" tab.
3. Enable all log info (TRACE, DETAILS, INFO and ERRORS).
4. Check "Save output to file" and choose file you want to save log information to.
5. Click OK.
6. Run "Sanger analysis" again.

After you received the same result, send us the "log" file.

Also, it would be helpful if you sent me the input files you use.

Best regards,
Dmitrii Sukhomlinov,
The UGENE team.

Problem resolved - The alignment was crashing because of a comma in the file path for the reads.  Everything worked fine after I moved the files to a different directory.  Dmitrii says this will be fixed in a future update.  Thank you!
