Trees and format conversion in workflow designer (Read 4241 times)

Greets,

1> Is there anyway to add tree calculation and construction to the workflow designer instead of having to go all the way back to the main menu and reopen an alignment file and generate a tree?

2> Is there any way to convert the alignment files to say a PHYLIP format both from the main menu and from within the workflow?

1> No, that would be a new feature. Maybe with a script but I have no idea how to do that.

2> Yes, from both, but I don't think that the PLYLIP format is included (not sure, maybe with different name). In the objects view (left panel of the project), right click and "export document". There you can choose several formats. In the workflow designer, the "write alignment" element has several formats to choose from.

No the phylip format is not included in the write alignment element.
