Hi there,

I'm using analysing sequences with BLAST in the workflow designer, but could not get the desired output (with blue boxes indicating homologous region). Can give some tips on this?

Thanks!

Kenneth, could you help us a bit, please? We need to know the next information:
1) What blast tool do you use? (is it downloaded from our web site or is it some other version of blast?)
2) What parameters do you set for blast element? (It will be great if you share the uwl file with us.)
3) Could you share please the input files of the scheme if they are not so big?

Thanks for your feedback!

I'm using blastall in Ubuntu, using the sample data file in UGENE as my input to blast against a formatted database. The workflow is simple and can be easily reproduce:

Read sequence > Local BLAST > Write Sequence (Genbank)

If you still need the files I can send it to you. Thanks!

So, your blast tool is not downloaded from our site, but it is from Ubuntu repository. What is the version of your blast tool?
