I would like to suggest to add the possibility to add a sequence directly from the clipboard to a multiple sequence alignment.

Currently, it is possible to add a new sequence either from a file within the current project or from a file on your computer. If you would like to compare a sequence (or a translated protein sequence) copied within ugene, it would be possibly useful if you would not have to set up a new sequence file first, but rather add the sequence directly to the alignment.

Thank you for your consideration.

Hi!
The feature is already present in the Alignment Editor. Click on an alignment and press Ctrl+v to paste a sequence. You may also use "Actions > Copy/Paste > Paste" item in the main menu.
