hello everyone one
i have a set of novel microrna and i want to blast them against the microrna vertebrate of miRbase. the NGS service who did the library construction and analysis, blast the microrna against the microrna zebrafish and because of limited fund i couldn't do it against other species.
can someone tell me how to do it using ugene or other tools?
thanks a lot for your help.

Hello. You can, for example, use local BLAST+ as follows:
1) Download the sequences that you want to use to BLAST against.
2) Create a BLAST+ database from them.
3) Open the novel sequence in the UGENE Sequence View.
4) Do the BLAST+ search against the created database.
