Help - unable to open a new project page! (Read 7982 times)

I am a Mac user. When I start a new project, no project page opens! I'm stuck as to what to do, has anyone else had this problem?

Did you click on the "Project" vertical tab on the left side?

Hi

I don't even get that option...no page opens at all, all i have is the toolbar at the top.

Just to clarify. I open the program then go to File, new project, I then press create but nothing happens.

If I try to open another one, i get a message saying project is already open, but i have no project window at all.

Ok, lets try this way: could you try opening any fasta or genbank file?

When you open a file in UGENE it automatically creates new project for you and "Project" tab on the left side must appear.

After creating new project the UGENE window should look like on the screen shot below.
What MacOS version do you have? What is the version of UGENE?

Hi there, I deleted the program and reinstalled it. It now seems to work! very odd!

Many thanks for your help, as I'm very excited about trying out Ugene...now to try it out!
