I want to use Ugene to annotate my genes but once I have entered a certain CDS there appears no way to change it. I do not want to change the name, I want to edit a second, third etc exon. One can from scratch put the correct annotation but the idea is to use Ugene to determine the putative or most likely xon-intron organization. Hence, I want to edit the numbers.

Actually i can also not change the name, F2 does not do anything. I run it in Ubuntu linux on a 64 bit machine.

Thanks

BTW This project looks really promising but really needs a detailed manual, once I am more familiar i will be happy to assist!

Hi ironarjen,
Which version of UGENE do you use? Annotations editing is supported beginning from v1.5.0.
You can see how it looks like on screenshots (the second is after pressing F2).

We will be glad to get any help in making our software better - you are welcome to contribute to our project!
