Problem openning pdb files (Read 11996 times)

Greetings
I have problems openning pdb files, Ugene just closes and in the terminal I get the following error
/usr/lib64/ugene/ugeneui: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib64/ugene/plugins/libbiostruct3d_view.so: undefined symbol: gluNewQuadric

the libbiostruct3d_view.so file actually exists and the 3D structure viewer appears to be loaded in the plugins window

Any help will be appreciated!

Hi!

What version of UGENE do you use? And what is your operating system?

It seems that the glut library missing.
Try installing it by:
sudo apt-get install freeglut3 freeglut3-dev libglew1.5 libglew1.5-dev libglu1-mesa libglu1-mesa-dev libgl1-mesa-glx libgl1-mesa-dev mesa-common-dev
