Auto-annotation (Read 9891 times)

Just came across Ugene, and it looks promising.

I would like to see an auto-annotation feature as found in Ape, using a predefined library. It is a most excellent feature, and a great timesaver!

We have this feature in our very distant plans, so I can't say when exactly it will be implemented. Thanks for your report!

Hi Ivan,

That is a bit of a shame that the auto-annotation is somewhere in the future as it is such a great feature.

I guess a nice workarround is then to use Ape or http://www.addgene.org to annotate the sequence and import the genbank-file.

Well, we try to do our best, but there are so many nice and great features, you know.
Just give us some time to implement them all, step by step
