Hi I'm a student and was wondering if anyone knows if there are plans to port UGENE to FreeBSD. If not I'll be interested in maintaining a port of it.

Hi Chris,

We have no active plans to port UGENE on FreeBSD today.

But I'm pretty sure that if you have Qt4.5+ available on FreeBSD there should be no problems in compiling UGENE from sources at all.

If you do this, please tell us about the results.
