Hi everyone,

I installed ugene on my Ubuntu 18.04  and when trying to start it I get an error message:

daniel@daniel-ThinkPad-W540:/opt/UGENE$ ugene -ui
Translation not found: transl_en
/usr/lib/ugene/ugene: línea 69: 22765 Violación de segmento  (`core' generado) "$dirname/$appname" "${params[@]}"

Someone knows the issue?

Thanks a lot!

You've tried to run UGENE which was installed with the "apt" manager (like "sudo apt install ugene"). Unfortunately, this kind of installation isn't supported already. But, you also have a version, which was installed with the online-installer ("/opt/UGENE"). To run it use the following command: ./ugene -ui

Best regards,
