Hi guys,

I am really happy you are able to work on new features. I often like to iterate primer3 over and over to tweak primers for cloning schemes. It would be nice to have a way of saving the last used options or perhaps storing profiles of different options for primer3 (annotation save paths, melting temps, GC content etc.)

Perhaps this already the case with the terminal? In which case I would love to have an option for some IDE like interface where the terminal sit beside an interactive GUI panel so I can see the commands that I send.

Thanks! I hope this makes sense.

Oh man I'm so scattered! As I was working I thought that perhaps an oligo calculator like tool (i.e. basic.northwestern.edu/biotools/OligoCalc.html) would be nice in the context menu.

Hi! Thanks for the suggestions! I have created an issue about Primer3 in the bug-tracker:
https://ugene.unipro.ru/tracker/browse/UGENE-2636

Not sure what you mean about terminal. Could you please give an example of such functionality? Ugene includes a detailed log window, which keeps track of all performed operations. More about logging here:
http://ugene.unipro.ru/documentation/manual/basic_functions/app_settings.html#lo...

Also, there is sequence statistics feature, which calculates many oligo params. It can be accessed via context menu item Statistics.
