Hi Ugene Team,

I'm regularly using the collocation search tool to annotate a region between two annotations. This works fine for annotations on the direct strand (see attachment, M is correctly annotated between A and B), however, when the region to be annotated is in between two annotations on the complementary strand, the annotation is still on the direct strand. (see attachment, Q is still on the direct strand, like M, even though the annotations C and D are on the complementary strand). Since I have features on both strands within one sequence - is there a solution / workaround to that problem?

Many thanks,

Tek

Dear Tek,

Thank you for your request.

We will add this feature in the next versions of UGENE (https://ugene.unipro.ru/tracker/browse/UGENE-1582).
