Hi, is it possible to add in "Search" feature in WD? For example I have made a BLAST analysis for a batch of 200 sequences, currently to browse through the sequence I would have to scroll and look for the sequence manually. The added "Search" function would enable one to search for the desired sequence without much hassle, something like the "Search" function in Adobe Reader.

Hello Kenneth,

thanks for your feedback!

Could you please make it clear, in what part of UGENE you want to perform the search and what are the search parameters (names of sequences or annotations)?

There are several ways to find the sequences you want...

1. Load sequences into a project (open a file with sequences). Use our name filter in the project view to perform the search by sequence names. (Pict. 1)

2. You could use filtration in WD schemes. Just create one more "branch" of the blast element's output, mark sequences using different markers in the marker element (they can be marked by sequence name, sequence length, qualifiers etc.) and add one or more filters. That's how you can create files that contain only sequences you want. (Pict. 2)

Additionally, you can find more information about filtration in our documentation (http://ugene.unipro.ru/documentation/wd_manual/workflow_samples/data_marking.htm...)

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask
