Hi. I have been using Ugene V1.31 NGS package by downloading and extracting the "Linux (64-bit)TAR.GZ archive".

Now, i would like to install the latest version using the default online installer. I downloaded the online installer (ugeneInstaller_64bit), made it executable, but when i run the file, the online installer would'nt run, I don't know why

Thank you for reporting the issue!

Could you please try to download an installer using this link: http://ugene.net/downloads/installer_linux_x64. Make the downloaded file executable and run it.
