Hi, I want to create a local database with a fasta file (53Mb). I couldnt do that: with the starndad BLAST I couldnt select the file (when I selected a red background appeared in the dialog box), with the BLAST+ the red background appeared in the output directory. Please see the attached files. What is the problem? Thanks in advance.

Hi!

You should select paths without whitespaces - the path to the input FASTA file and the output path. For example, on the screenshot there is a space character in the folder named "Doctorado Te".

Sorry for the inconvenience! This is the original BLAST software limitation, for which we haven't provided a workaround yet.
