Title: Annotate sequences in multiple alignment Post by rseq on Mar 1st, 2015 at 1:01am
I have just started using Ugene and have been working with the alignment editor. I would like to add annotations to the sequences in a mulitple alignment - but I can't find whether this is possible.
Can anyone suggest a solution? |

Hi, rseq, AFAIK it is currently not possible, but it is in future plans. Maybe someone with more information from the UGENE team will reply.

Hi!
Indeed, we plan to support annotations in the Alignment Editor in future (see UGENE-3442). For now, you can try to work with several annotated sequences in the Sequences View. Note that you can open the sequences in one view. The Annotations Editor will contain annotations from all sequences in this case. |
