Dear UGene Guris,

thank you for creating this project.

Unfortunately, the software fails to work on Windows 7. It works ok on Ubuntu, though.

On Windows, it crashes unexpectedly every 5 minutes or so. I have no clue as to why (hence my post). Please see the crash report attached.

Obviously I would be most grateful for any useful hint regarding the solution of this chrashing behaviour.

Thanks for informing us about this problem!

Unfortunately the reason of the problem is not clear from the report. Could you please answer some additional questions:
1. As I see you have the latest UGENE version installed. Have you installed it above another UGENE version or on "clean" Windows?
2. Is there any actions that you repeat each time before the crash?
3. Is there any errors in UGENE log?
4. Do you work with the same documents? Is there any problems when you work e.g. with UGENE sample data?

Could you please try to do the following:
1. Open UGENE
2. Open "Settings > Preferences" in the main menu. The "Application Settings" dialog should appear.
3. Check "Reset settings to default on the next run" on the "General" tab of the dialog.
4. Restart UGENE

You may also try to reinstall UGENE again before the 4th step.
