Do I need some plugin to run CDD Database?
When I click "Search through a remote database", and select cdd, and the database (CDD etc.), the task theoretically starts, but there is only 0% progress, and after a while task ends, without even an error.

Mayby I need some plugin, becouse BLAST didn't want to run as well, but now I have "installed" external tools package and blastn and blastp run well?

No, is trying to connect to this database:
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/Structure/cdd/cdd.shtml

Then is a connectivity problem, you are not having access to internet from UGENE. Check if the firewall is blocking UGENE.

As a simple test, go to Help/Check for Updates. If nothing happens, see the log (bottom left). If I do that without connection I get this:
[10:10][ERROR] Task {Check for updates} finished with error: Connection error: Host ugene.unipro.ru not found

Otherwise you should get a messagebox showing your current version and the latest available.

Thanks. Probably there is some deeper problem, couse ugene can actualize itself.

You are right! There is actually a bug with CDD request. It will be fixed ASAP
